Facebook Followers, Page Likes or Post Likes?

What is the difference between Facebook followers, Page likes and post likes?

A follower is connected to ongoing Page or profile updates, a Page like is a visible endorsement of the Page, and a post like is an interaction on one piece of content. Facebook interfaces can present following and liking differently by Page type and user settings. Choose by job: audience baseline for the Page, Page-level endorsement, or proof on a specific post. None guarantees reach or customers.

Followers

Use follower count when the visible problem is the size of the Page's continuing audience. Actual feed delivery still depends on Facebook's systems and user behavior.

Page likes

A Page like is Page-level social proof. Depending on the interface, someone may follow, like, or both; the counters should not be assumed identical.

Post likes

A post like belongs to one URL. It can make that content's interaction count more visible, but it does not automatically increase Page followers or prove business results.
