Start with a comparable observation window
Choose two complete periods with similar posting frequency and record video views, profile visits and new follows where TikTok makes them available. Note promotions, third-party deliveries and unusual viral posts separately.
Do not compare lifetime video views with one week's new follows. If a metric is missing, mark it unavailable rather than entering zero.
Views without profile visits: inspect the content promise
Review several posts rather than one outlier. Does the topic match the audience you want?
Is there a clear reason to visit your profile? A complete answer can be useful even when nobody follows.
TikTok describes watch behavior and other interactions as recommendation signals, but a low profile-visit ratio alone does not identify a restriction or shadowban.

Check whether your bio describes a recognizable topic, your recent posts support that topic and your pinned examples make the benefit of returning clear. These are practical tests, not proven causes for your account.
Change one element and compare similar posts. A follower counter cannot reveal whether visitors liked your offer or why they left.
Calculate ratios without inventing a tracked funnel
Divide profile visits by video views, and new follows by profile visits, using the same period. For example, 200 visits and 20 new follows give a 10% aggregate ratio.
This is an arithmetic example, not a performance target. Some people follow directly from a video, so the ratio is not a person-level conversion probability.
Decide what the evidence supports
If your purpose is organic audience growth, first test content relevance and the profile promise. When comparing a paid service, review the exact metric and order terms separately.
Buying a visible counter does not establish retention, sales or improved recommendation. Keep campaign and delivery dates in your notes so later organic comparisons remain interpretable.
