Separate three questions before looking for a fix
Can people open the post? Is that post eligible for For You recommendations?
Is the account itself restricted from recommendation or a function? These are different questions.
A visible video can be ineligible for recommendation, while low views alone prove neither a post restriction nor an account restriction. Record the affected URL and publication time before changing anything.
TikTok’s content-violations guidance explains the post decision; its account-status and account-recommendation pages cover different checks. Do not treat one green screen as an answer to all three.
Find and preserve the post-level decision
Open the affected post and look for More insights, or its analytics through the available options. TikTok’s help describes viewing the eligibility notification there and using its appeal route when offered; analytics may need enabling.
Interface labels and access vary by app version and region, so follow the current help for your account. Save the exact reason, decision time and a screenshot, not only a view count.
If there is no decision visible, record that fact without inventing a hidden penalty.
Check the account without confusing its purpose
Use Account check in TikTok Studio or the Safety Center to inspect listed account-function issues. Separately look for an account-not-recommended notification in your inbox or profile.
TikTok explains that accounts repeatedly posting unsuitable content can become harder to find in recommendations and search. That is not the same as one post being ineligible.
Write down which posts or functions are named. An all-clear account check is useful evidence, but it neither overrides an individual eligibility notice nor guarantees future distribution.
Prepare an appeal that addresses the stated reason
If you believe the decision is wrong and an appeal is available, answer the reason with verifiable context. For an originality issue, retain the source recording, project and relevant permissions; for misunderstood context, identify the precise scene and what it shows.
This evidence list is our preparation method, not a guaranteed TikTok acceptance checklist. Keep your explanation short and factual.
Do not claim rights you cannot establish, send passwords or pay someone promising an unban. If the notice identifies a real violation, use that lesson for future compliant work rather than trying to evade review.
Worked example: visibility is not recommendation eligibility
Hypothetical case, not a customer outcome: a creator can open a recipe video and friends can watch it, but the post analytics contain an ineligibility notice about originality. A clean Account check does not contradict that narrower decision.
The creator saves the notice and original cooking footage, then uses the available appeal to explain the relevant material. Until a response arrives, the decision is unresolved.
Even a successful appeal restores eligibility, not a promised view total, sales result or exact recovery schedule.
Choose the next action from evidence, not a low counter
If the post is unavailable or upload is incomplete, use the zero-view access checklist first. If there is an explicit post or account decision, follow that specific review process and keep its response.
If no relevant warning exists, evaluate several comparable posts for topic fit, opening clarity and viewer retention. Keep their observation age similar and change one variable at a time.
This is an editorial experiment, not proof that moderation never occurred. Missing analytics remain missing; do not turn them into zero recommendation traffic.
Keep a case log and separate optional paid services
Use a simple log: URL; decision wording; time; post or account scope; evidence retained; appeal reference; latest response. For a persistent technical issue or an unavailable review control, report the problem in-app with version, device and redacted screenshots.
No universal restoration deadline is promised here. None of these checks requires a purchase.
BoostMaus services are optional for an independently chosen deliverable, not a restriction remedy: purchased followers or views cannot change TikTok’s eligibility decision, guarantee recommendations or establish monetization eligibility.
Match the decision to the next action
| Evidence | Scope | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Post eligibility notice | One identified post | Save the reason and use its available appeal |
| Account-not-recommended notice | Account recommendation status | Review the named posts and account appeal route |
| No relevant notice, low views | Cause not established | Compare content; do not infer a hidden ban |
